The ideal candidate has extensive UAE construction HSE leadership experience, strong auditing skills, and fluency in English (Arabic an advantage).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety; master’s preferred.
• ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications.
• Minimum 10 years of UAE construction experience, with 5+ years in HSE management.
• Strong leadership, incident response, and team development skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a company-wide HSE management system aligned with ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018.
• Lead HSE teams across sites and ensure compliance with laws and client standards.
• Conduct regular HSE audits, site inspections, and safety walks with management.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and advise on corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures.
• Oversee HSE documentation for tenders and project execution.
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external HSE audits.
• Act as main contact for HSE regulatory matters and stakeholder communications.

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Manager to lead and enforce our health, safety, and environmental standards across all project sites and operations. This critical leadership role ensures compliance with UAE regulations, ISO standards, and client requirements, while fostering a strong safety-first culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a company-wide HSE management system in line with ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018 standards.
• Lead HSE teams across all sites and ensure compliance with legal and client-specific safety standards.
• Conduct regular HSE audits, site inspections, and safety walks with management.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and provide guidance on corrective actions where needed.
• Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective/preventive measures.
• Oversee HSE documentation for tenders and ensure compliance during project execution.
• Coordinate and participate in both internal and external HSE audits.
• Act as the main point of contact for all HSE regulatory matters and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• ISO certifications in 9001, 14001, and 45001.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the UAE construction sector, with at least 5 years in a managerial HSE role for a main contractor.
• Strong understanding of UAE HSE laws and international best practices.
• Excellent leadership, incident response, and team development skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
