Job summary

AD Ports Group invites an experienced HSE leader to drive health, safety and environmental excellence across Oil & Gas operations in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee risk management, process safety, emergency preparedness and regulatory compliance while promoting a strong safety culture.

The role requires 7–10 years of progressive HSE experience in high-risk environments, with NEBOSH and ISO 45001/14001 expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HSE, env science, or engineering.
• NEBOSH IGC and NEBOSH Diploma in Oil & Gas.
• PSM knowledge and incident investigation methodologies.
• Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001/ISO 14001 preferred.
• COSHH, HSE Risk Management, Advanced First Aid certifications advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Process Safety and EMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of HSE procedures and standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Abu Dhabi HSE laws and international best practices.
• Drive PSM initiatives like HAZOP, PHA and MOC.
• Oversee permit-to-work and high-risk operation controls.
• Lead incident investigations and preventive actions.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Maintain BIA and BCP for resilience.
• Monitor HSE performance and prepare management reports.
• Manage HSE engineers and promote a safety culture.
• Coordinate contractor HSE compliance and stakeholder engagement.
