Job summary

GEOSCIENCE TESTING LABORATORY is seeking an experienced HSE Officer in Abu Dhabi to manage health, safety and environment onsite. You will implement policies, conduct inspections, and coordinate with management to maintain compliant practices.

Responsibilities include toolbox talks, PPE oversight, incident reporting, and maintaining safety documentation. You will ensure emergency procedures and environmental controls are effectively applied across projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in HSE or related field.
• NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience; UAE equivalency certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at the project site.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments, and HSE requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions.
• Monitor proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with site management and workers to resolve safety issues.
• Ensure emergency procedures and environmental controls are properly implemented.
