Job summary

Innovo Group is seeking an HSE professional to implement and monitor safety requirements across its infrastructure project sites. The role focuses on inspections, toolbox talks, permit-to-work administration, and incident reporting to sustain a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Safety (NEBOSH IGC preferred) and 3–5 years of construction-site HSE experience. You will also drive housekeeping, environmental controls, and equipment checks to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Safety or related field; NEBOSH IGC preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections; monitor PPE usage and safe work practices.
• Stop unsafe work activities and elevate serious hazards immediately.
• Deliver daily toolbox talks and safety inductions for site personnel and subcontractors.
• Issue and monitor permits-to-work for high-risk activities.
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to the HSE Engineer without delay.
• Assist in basic incident investigations and complete incident documentation.
• Monitor site housekeeping standards and waste segregation practices.
• Check environmental controls such as dust suppression and spill containment are maintained.
• Inspect site plant, tools, and lifting gear for valid certification before use.
• Maintain HSE signage, barricading, and emergency equipment across the site.
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency.
• Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
