Innovo Group seeks an experienced HSE professional to implement and enforce local and international HSE standards at site. The role involves coordinating risk assessments, permits to work, and waste management in a contracting environment.

You will conduct regular site inspections, train workers in HSE practices, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure safe operations. Strong initiative and ability to influence the workforce are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in GCC contracting environments.
• NEBOSH certificate holder.
• Diploma or degree as required by client specs or zoning authority requirements.
• Ability to work in all weather and site conditions, including shift work.
• Knowledge of OHS&E standards and hazards/controls.
• Hands-on experience implementing ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
• Ability to influence employees for HSE tool adoption.
• Ability to take direction and work independently with initiative.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with local, legal and contract HSE requirements and communicate them clearly to all employees.
• Carry out regular inspections and monitor high-risk activities for full compliance.
• Implement and follow risk assessments and permits to work by all site personnel.
• Oversee waste management, segregation, and recycling efforts.
• Operate scaffold tagging system and enforce safety protocols.
• Engage with workforce on safety matters and record activities in the system.
• Inspect and record conditions of fire equipment and other plant/equipment.
• Provide safe access, housekeeping and proper safety signage with the operations team.
• Enforce PPE usage and maintenance of safety equipment.
