Job summary
Drake & Scull International in the UAE is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to support project HSE plans, risk controls and safety performance across civil construction activities. You will work with project teams to identify risks, improve safe systems of work, guide site supervision and maintain HSE compliance throughout project execution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent HSE qualification.
- At least 5 years of HSE experience in civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and HSE reporting.
- Experience coordinating with project teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement project HSE plans and risk controls.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and high-risk monitoring.
- Support toolbox talks, training and safety campaigns.
- Review permits, lifting plans and safety controls.
- Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions.
- Prepare HSE reports and dashboards for management.
- Coordinate with management, QA/QC, subcontractors and clients.
- Promote proactive safety culture while supporting delivery.
