Job summary

S K Overseas HR Consultancy in United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced HSE Lead for construction, fabrication, installation and commissioning projects in oil & gas. You will drive risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations to prevent incidents.

The role requires 10–12 years in HSE, 5 years as lead/engineer, engineering diploma or relevant science degree, and certifications including NEBOSH IGC and ISO lead audits.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of HSE experience in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
• Minimum 5 years as approved HSE lead/engineer in oil & gas projects.
• Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor's in a relevant Science from an authorized institution.
• NEBOSH IGC completed before 2021.
• Any other HSE certifications held.
• Lead auditor: ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 (or equivalent).
• Incident investigation techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments hazard identification and incident investigation to identify potential safety risks and implement measures to mitigate them Perform regular HSE inspections at construction sites to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 to 12 years experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries.At least worked as approved HSE lead / Engineer for a minimum of 5 years in oil and gas Projects.
• Diploma in Engineering (Regular) or bachelors degree in relevant Science (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)
• NEBOSH IGC before 2021
• Any other HSE certifications
• Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.
• Mandatory: Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent.
