Job summary

S K Overseas HR Consultancy in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Lead HSE professional to oversee safety audits, risk identification and compliance with industry standards across oil, gas, EPC projects.

The role requires 12–15 years HSE experience including 5+ years in a lead position, a relevant degree, NEBOSH IGC or higher, and mandatory ISO 45001/ISO 14001 lead auditor certification.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of HSE experience with at least 5 years in a lead HSE position managing a team of professionals.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or HSE discipline, from an institution authorized to grant degrees.
• Strong understanding of HSE issues in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent; NEBOSH International Diploma or other HSE certifications.
• Lead Auditor course ISO 45001/ISO 14001 (Mandatory).
• Incident Investigation techniques (Mandatory).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits inspections and risk identification to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Develop and implement effective safety management systems policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 12-15 years experience in HSE (Operations in the oil & gas or petro-chemical industries, construction, fabrication, installation, commissioning projects, with at least 5 years experience in a lead HSE position managing team of HSE professionals.
• Bachelors degree in relevant Engineering OR Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue).
• Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioural aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business
• NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent NEBOSH International Diploma Any other HSE certifications
• Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.
• Mandatory :Lead Auditor course ISO 45001/ ISO 14001
• Mandatory:Incident Investigation technique.
