MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The HR Systems Specialist supports the delivery of HR technology, digital transformation, and process automation initiatives across the organization. The role partners with HR leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement, translate business requirements into functional solutions, and enhance the effectiveness of HR systems and digital tools.

The role coordinates activities across the solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process mapping, end-user acceptance testing, training, documentation, change management, communications, and first-line post-implementation support. Acting as a bridge between business and technology teams, the HR Systems Specialist ensures solutions are aligned to business needs and are effectively embedded into day-to-day operations.

Through strong systems thinking, stakeholder engagement, and effective use of technology, the role contributes to process optimization, improved user experience, and the successful delivery of HR digital solutions that enhance efficiency and support evolving business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Support the delivery of HR systems, digital transformation and automation projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
• Coordinate system testing, UAT and quality assurance, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
• Provide HR systems support and drive user adoption and effective utilisation of digital solutions.
• Develop user guides, process documentation and training materials, and support end-user training.
• Support change management and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for automation, AI and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with HR, IT and business stakeholders to coordinate projects, resolve issues and ensure successful delivery.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Certification in Change Management

Training in Project Management, Agile, or Scrum methodologies.

Certification in HR Technology, Microsoft Power Platform, or Digital Transformation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential:

4-6 years of experience in HR systems, HR technology, business analysis, HR operations, process improvement, digital transformation, or related roles.

Experience gathering business requirements and translating business needs into functional specifications.

Experience supporting HR system implementations, enhancements, testing, and user adoption initiatives.

Experience developing training materials, user documentation, and change communication plans.

Experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders across multiple functions.

Desirable:

Experience within a healthcare, hospital, or multi-site service environment.

Experience supporting HR digital transformation, workflow automation, and employee experience initiatives.

Experience working with HR platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, or equivalent HR technologies.

Experience leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and AI-enabled workplace technologies.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Digital literacy, with specific reference to MSOffice suite, skilled in the use of multiple HR Systems, ranging from SAP Successfactors talent suite, payroll and Tableau etc.
