Job summary

AirQ Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HR Operation Lead to run the day-to-day HR functions and support organisational growth. The role strengthens HR governance, improves processes and ensures accurate employee activities, with strong focus on Odoo HR and KPI development.

The successful candidate will lead HR policy development, recruit and manage staff, oversee payroll controls and salary structures, and maintain confidential HR data with rigorous reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or business; CIPD/SHRM is a plus.

Overview

Summary of the position.

Air Q Limited is looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Operation Lead to lead the Company’s day-to-day HR function and support its continued organisational growth.The role requires a practical HR professional who can strengthen HR governance, improve existing processes and ensure that employee-related activities are implemented accurately and consistently.The successful candidate should have strong experience in Odoo HR, HR policies and procedures, salary structures, payroll controls, performance evaluations and KPI development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of the HR function and supervise assigned HR team members.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, SOPs, guidelines and standard forms.
• Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend practical improvements and controls.
• Ensure HR practices comply with applicable UAE employment requirements and approved Company policies.
• Manage recruitment activities for approved vacancies, including job posting, screening, interview coordination, offers and recruitment tracking.
• Support manpower planning and maintain accurate organisation charts, headcount records and job descriptions.
• Coordinate onboarding, probation reviews, employee transfers, contract renewals and offboarding processes.
• Lead probation, mid-year and annual performance evaluation cycles.
• Work with department heads to develop clear and measurable employee and departmental KPIs.
• Review performance evaluations for completeness, consistency and supporting evidence.
• Coordinate performance improvement plans and follow up on agreed actions.
• Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, job grades and salary ranges.
• Review salary proposals for new hires, promotions and internal transfers against approved structures and internal equity.
• Verify payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, deductions, new joiners, leavers and approved salary changes.
• Oversee attendance, leave administration, employee records and HR documentation.
• Handle employee relations matters, complaints, investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports covering headcount, recruitment, probation, attendance, evaluations, employee movements and outstanding actions.
• Maintain accurate employee data and HR transactions through Odoo.
• Review Odoo HR workflows and coordinate system improvements, testing and reporting requirements with the ERP team.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling employee, salary and performance information.
