Job summary

Air Q Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HR Operation Lead to steer the day-to-day HR function and support the company's growth. The role requires a hands-on professional who can strengthen governance, streamline processes and ensure consistent employee activities.

The successful candidate should have strong experience with Odoo HR, HR policies, salary structures, payroll controls, performance evaluations and KPI development to drive compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level HR or related degree required.
• 8–10 years HR experience with leadership exposure.
• Hands-on with Odoo HR modules and HR analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of the HR function and supervise assigned HR team members.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, SOPs, guidelines and standard forms.
• Ensure HR practices comply with applicable UAE employment requirements and approved Company policies.
• Manage recruitment activities, onboarding, probation reviews, employee transfers, contract renewals and offboarding processes.
• Lead probation, mid-year and annual performance evaluation cycles and work with department heads to develop KPIs.
• Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, job grades and salary ranges.
• Verify payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, overtime, allowances, deductions, new joiners and leavers.
• Maintain accurate employee data and HR transactions through Odoo and coordinate system improvements with the ERP team.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 - 10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience leading or coordinating an HR function.
• Strong hands-on experience using Odoo HR modules is required.
• Practical experience with Odoo recruitment, employee records, attendance, leave, appraisals and HR reporting.
• Strong knowledge of salary structures, job grading, payroll controls and compensation reviews.
• Good knowledge of UAE employment practices and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or technical environment preferred.
