Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts, via voco Dubai, seeks an HR Coordinator to support daily HR operations in a hospitality environment. You will handle joining formalities, payroll postings, leavers, recruitment, and engagement activities while maintaining accurate colleague records and communicating effectively with teams.

The role requires hospitality HR experience, strong organizational skills and proficiency in HR tools; Sky Bayan experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality HR coordination.
• Knowledge of payroll, benefits and labor laws.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Sky Bayan is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Friendly, team player with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Handle joining formalities for colleagues, documents, filing and related tasks.
• Process all colleague request letters and HR communications.
• Manage leavers and final settlements, status changes, and disciplinary processes.
• Post monthly payroll attendance for all departments before payroll closing.
• Maintain up-to-date information for all colleagues and HR communications.
• Raise LPOs through system for HR, accommodation and cafeteria needs.
• Assist HR duties including recruitment, policy adherence and events.

Your day to day

• Handling joining formalities of all colleagues- documents, filing, bank account, locker issuance, uniform formalities etc.


• Processing of all colleague request letters.


• Handling leavers and final settlement, change status, disciplinary action. Wot planner.


• Monthly payroll attendance posting for all departments before payroll closing (attendance, vacation, sick leave, cash advance & etc.)


• Delivering consistent and updated information of all colleagues’ communication medium.


• Raising all LPO's through the system for HR Office, accommodation and colleague’s cafeteria.


• HR Duty Roster


• Leave updating and posting, air ticket handling


• Colleagues Welfare Committee Meetings.


• Hotels colleagues’ engagement activities, events (Monthly colleagues’ gathering, Independence Day celebrations, etc.)


• Monthly Birthday Cards and Calendar


• Colleagues personal file keep the documents according to the index.


• Sending documents and get signature from authorized persons


• To protect the colleague’s data in the online Sky Bayan system


• Receptionist to assist the colleagues


• Updating HR monthly reports


• Turns over report


• Handing colleagues Accommodation


• Handling Recruitments process.


• HR Policy and Procedure.

What We Need From You

At voco Dubai, we look for hosts who are reliably different and contribute to the success of bringing our brand to life! Ideally, you'll have experience in hospitality, and leadership working in a hotel with multiple restaurants, the ideal candidate should have previous experience as a HR Coordinator and knowledge of HR functions such as payroll & benefits, recruitment, engagement activities, events etc. Moreover, a good understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures, proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Sky Bayan system is a plus. The right candidate should have outstanding organizational and time‑management abilities. We are looking for someone who is friendly and enjoys learning new things and working in a team environment. Must be flexible, willing to work smart, get along well with others, and have the passion to go the extra mile to be a trusted advisor for their teams at all levels.
