Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team on site in Ras al-Khaimah. You will execute floor and service area duties, manage supplies, and support guest requests to maintain the resort’s luxury standards.

Fluency in English and prior hotel experience are preferred. The role requires flexibility, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience as Guest Room Attendant preferred.
• Fluent English communication (verbal, written and reading).
• High School diploma or vocational training.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned floors and service areas according to daily briefings.
• Review, update, and manage work assignments using FCS1.
• Handle chemicals, cleaning agents, and equipment per procedures.
• Manage section keys, assignments, and shift-related items per protocol.
• Remove and dispose of garbage, recycling, linen, and glassware per procedures.
• Stock floor pantries, linen rooms, and utility areas with required supplies.
• Clean guest corridors, public areas, and Heart of House to required standards.
• Support heavy-duty tasks including furniture movement, deep cleaning, and room prep.
• Deliver guest request items and operational supplies.
• Operate, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment.
• Report lost & found items, maintenance defects, safety hazards, and unusual conditions.
• Assist with linen and supply inventory.
• Follow security procedures related to keys and controlled areas.
• Participate in training and support operational changes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are

• Execute assigned floors and service areas according to daily briefings
• Support departmental service standards and operational requirements
• Use FCS1 to review, update, and manage work assignments
• Handle chemicals, cleaning agents, and equipment in line with procedures
• Manage section keys, assignments, and shift-related items as per protocol
• Remove and dispose of garbage, recycling, linen, and glassware following procedures
• Stock floor pantries, linen rooms, and utility areas with required supplies
• Clean guest corridors, public areas, Heart of House, storage areas, and fire exits to required standards
• Support heavy-duty tasks including furniture movement, deep cleaning, carpet care, and room preparation
• Deliver guest request items and operational supplies
• Operate, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment
• Report lost & found items, maintenance defects, safety hazards, and unusual conditions
• Handle and report damaged or contaminated linen as per procedureSupport Guest Room Valets with required supplies
• Assist with linen and supply inventory
• Follow security procedures related to keys and controlled areas
• Participate in training and support operational changes
• Perform additional duties as assigned

About You

• Previous Hotel experience as Guest Room Attendant would be advantageous
• Communication – Fluent in English – Verbal, written and reading
• High School diploma, vocational training and/or 1-year work experience
• Knowledge of FTG standards is preferred
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
