Job summary

Accor in Dubai is seeking a Frontline Housekeeping Associate to assist in cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas according to established standards. You will learn proper usage of cleaning tools, products and techniques through hands-on training and observation, and support housekeeping staff in daily operations including linen changes and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school certification.
• Attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to take on various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas according to established standards directed by supervisors.
• Learn proper usage of cleaning tools, products and techniques through hands-on training and observation.
• Support housekeeping staff in daily operations including linen changes, restocking supplies and organizing storage areas.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient room turnover during high-occupancy periods.
• Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner as per hotel standards.
• Engage in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of housekeeping best practices.
• Ensure the privacy and security of guests by respecting Do Not Disturb signs and managing lost and found items appropriately.
