ShineOn Cleaning Services in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a hands-on Team Leader for Cleaning Operations. The role directs a five‑strong cleaning team across multiple properties, ensuring on‑time, guest-ready results and leading by example by cleaning alongside the team when needed.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of hospitality cleaning experience, proven supervisory skills, and a clear focus on quality control and client satisfaction.

Team Leader – Cleaning Operations

About the Role

ShineOn is building a team of superstars, and we're looking for a hands‑on Team Leader who takes real ownership of their cleaning team and the quality of work delivered every day.

This is not a role for someone who only wants to supervise from the sidelines.

You will lead an initial team of approximately 5 cleaners, working across ShineOn's scattered holiday‑home and client portfolio throughout Dubai. You'll be responsible for ensuring the team arrives prepared, follows ShineOn standards, completes jobs on time, and leaves every property genuinely guest‑ready.

Most importantly, we want someone who leads by example. When the operation gets busy or the team needs support, you should have no hesitation in picking up the equipment and cleaning alongside them.

You will report directly to the Operations Supervisor and work closely with our Operations Coordinators.

Working Arrangement

• Position: Team Leader – Cleaning Operations
• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Salary: AED 5,000 per month
• Performance: Additional performance‑based bonuses or future salary increments may be considered based on individual performance and company requirements
• Working days: 6 days per week, with 1 weekly day off
• UAE driving licence: Mandatory
• Experience: Minimum 5 years within hotel housekeeping, holiday homes, serviced apartments or professional cleaning operations, with proven team‑leading/supervisory experience
• Flexibility is required based on operational requirements, check‑ins and check‑outs.

What You'll Own

Your Cleaning Team

You will be directly responsible for the day‑to‑day performance of approximately 5 cleaners.

• Lead, motivate and support your assigned cleaning team.
• Conduct daily briefings and ensure everyone understands their assignments.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming and productivity.
• Train cleaners practically and demonstrate the correct cleaning methods.
• Identify individual performance gaps and provide immediate coaching.
• Support the onboarding and training of new cleaners.
• Build a culture of teamwork, accountability and high standards.
• Escalate serious performance or disciplinary concerns to the Operations Supervisor.

Cleaning & Quality Control

You need to know cleaning inside and out.

• Conduct detailed inspections before properties are released as guest‑ready.
• Ensure ShineOn and client‑specific cleaning standards are consistently followed.
• Identify poor‑quality work and have it corrected immediately.
• Demonstrate the correct standard rather than simply giving instructions.
• Clean alongside the team whenever operationally required.
• Step in during staff shortages, high‑volume days and urgent turnovers.
• Reduce re‑cleans and recurring quality issues through practical coaching.
• Ensure bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, balconies and other areas meet hospitality‑level standards.
• Report maintenance issues or property damage immediately.

Scattered Holiday‑Home Operations

This role requires someone comfortable working across multiple properties throughout Dubai every day.

• Follow the daily schedule provided by the Operations team.
• Ensure cleaners reach properties on time and are properly prepared.
• Move between properties to inspect, support and manage the team.
• Respond quickly to delayed check‑outs, early check‑ins and last‑minute operational changes.
• Communicate delays or problems immediately to the Operations Coordinator and Operations Supervisor.
• Help reorganise the team when schedules change.
• Ensure keys, access cards and property information are handled responsibly.
• Maintain clear communication between the cleaners and Operations team.

Supplies, Equipment & Inventory

• Ensure cleaners have the correct chemicals, equipment and consumables before deployment.
• Monitor the condition and correct use of cleaning equipment.
• Prevent unnecessary chemical and consumable wastage.
• Report damaged, missing or insufficient equipment.
• Communicate stock requirements before shortages affect operations.
• Ensure chemicals are used and stored safely.

Client & Guest Standards

You are representing ShineOn whenever you enter a client's property.

• Maintain professional appearance and behaviour.
• Ensure cleaners follow the same standards.
• Handle straightforward on‑site client concerns professionally.
• Escalate complaints or significant issues quickly.
• Take ownership of correcting cleaning‑related complaints.
• Protect client property, keys, access information and confidential information.

What We're Looking For

We are specifically looking for someone with real hospitality housekeeping experience, not someone who has only supervised general labour.

The successful candidate must have:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in hotels, holiday homes, serviced apartments or professional hospitality cleaning.
• Proven experience as a Team Leader, Housekeeping Supervisor or similar operational role.
• Strong practical housekeeping and cleaning knowledge.
• Experience managing or leading cleaning teams.
• Experience with holiday‑home turnovers and scattered operations is strongly preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence – mandatory.
• Strong quality‑control and inspection skills.
• Willingness to personally clean when required.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach cleaners.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to remain calm during busy operations and last‑minute changes.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, mobile applications, checklists and basic operational systems.

You should be demanding about standards while still being someone your cleaners respect and want to work with.

If a cleaner doesn't know how to do something properly, teach them. If the team is falling behind, help them. If quality isn't good enough, fix it. And if something repeatedly goes wrong, work with the Operations Supervisor to make sure it doesn't keep happening.

What Success Looks Like

Your five‑person team operates like a strong, dependable unit.

Cleaners arrive on time and are prepared. Properties consistently pass inspection. Re‑cleans and complaints are reduced. Staff understand exactly what is expected of them. Operational problems are communicated early rather than discovered later by the client.

The Operations Coordinators organize the schedule, the Operations Supervisor oversees the wider operation, and you own your team's execution on the ground.

That is the standard we want from a ShineOn Team Leader.
