Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a Housekeeping Incharge to lead the housekeeping team in maintaining high cleaning standards. The role involves planning shifts, assigning tasks, and ensuring sanitation requirements are met across the department.

The ideal candidate will have housekeeping or hospitality experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Designating housekeeping jobs to staff and checking work to meet sanitation standards.
• Scheduling staff shifts and arranging substitutes as required.
• Investigating and addressing grievances about housekeeping service.
• Providing training to housekeeping staff.
• Regularly taking stock of cleaning supplies and ordering as needed.
• Issuing supplies and tools to the housekeeping team as required.
• Evaluating housekeeping candidates and advising on promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Performing various cleaning tasks during staff shortages.
