Job summary

One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant - Public Area to uphold the resort’s exceptional standards. You will report for duty punctually, follow hotel procedures, clean and replenish public spaces, and maintain safe, hazard-free corridors.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in upscale hospitality, excellent English communication, and keen attention to detail. Middle East experience is a plus; the role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years' experience in upscale luxury hospitality or five-star hotels.
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English (and/or another language).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually and maintain proper grooming.
• Attend daily briefings and be trained on resort standards.
• Clean, replenish and prepare guest and public areas per hotel standards.
• Move cleaning trolley safely; follow health and safety policies.
• Report issues to supervisor and Engineering; handle lost and found items.
• Support turn-down and maintain cleanliness of corridors and storage areas.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of Resort’s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships with our clients. Where you will give high quality service, supply, provide turn-down for guest rooms and suites as per resort standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To report for duty punctually and ensure proper grooming as per hotel policy.
• To attend daily briefing in selected areas conducted by Supervisor/Manager.
• Be fully trained on resort standards and procedures required to carry out daily tasks.
• Use and maintain all chemicals, supplies and equipment as per hotel standards.
• Clean, replenish and prepare all guest rooms as per hotel standards.
• Move and position cleaning trolley in the corridor ensuring a safe and hazard free corridor as per hotel policy.
• To follow the resorts key control policy.
• Operate machinery and equipment accordingly.
• Report malfunctioning tools, incidents, and guest room issues correctly to supervisor and to Engineering department.
• Report lost and found articles as per hotel policy.
• Report in-room safe issues as per hotel standards and policies.
• Report unusual guest behavior or activities as per hotel standards.
• Have thorough knowledge of the layout of the guest rooms and corridors, and all housekeeping storage spaces with what they hold.
• Follow hotel’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Attend trainings necessary for the tasks and as per hotel requirements.
• Carry out any other job-related duties when requested by the hotel .

Suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. He/She must be highly qualified and must have at least 1-2 years’ experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels. He/She must have a background with impeccable attention to details, analytical skills, exceptional training skills, highly talented in motivating others, must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and/or another language. Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
