Job summary

Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to maintain guest rooms and public areas to the brand’s luxury standards. You will ensure spaces are clean, well-presented, and welcoming for every guest stay in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role involves bed making, linen changes, bathroom cleaning, and assisting with deep cleaning tasks while upholding safety and privacy for guests.

Responsibilities

• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, floors, and other surfaces.
• Ensure guest rooms are properly arranged, well-presented, and ready for guest arrival.
• Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally while respecting their privacy and comfort.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged furniture, and equipment defects to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Handle guest belongings carefully and follow hotel lost and found procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, cleaning equipment, and supplies in good working condition.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures, including the safe handling and storage of chemicals.
• Collect and dispose of waste according to hotel hygiene and environmental standards.
• Report room status updates and coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure rooms are ready on time.
• Assist with deep cleaning, periodic cleaning, and special housekeeping assignments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, pantries, and housekeeping storage areas.
• Follow hotel grooming, health and safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times.
• Support sustainability initiatives by using cleaning materials, water, and other resources responsibly.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
