Job summary

Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain guest rooms and public areas to the hotel’s luxury standards in Dubai. You will clean, arrange beds, restock amenities, and ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals while protecting privacy.

In this role you will follow safety procedures, report maintenance issues, and support sustainability initiatives. The position is full-time and based on-site at Avani Palm View Dubai.

Qualifications

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, floors, and other surfaces.
• Ensure guest rooms are properly arranged, well-presented, and ready for guest arrival.
• Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally while respecting privacy.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged furniture, and equipment defects to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Handle guest belongings carefully and follow hotel lost and found procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, cleaning equipment, and supplies in good working condition.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures, including the safe handling and storage of chemicals.
• Collect and dispose of waste according to hotel hygiene and environmental standards.
• Report room status updates and coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure rooms are ready on time.
• Assist with deep cleaning, periodic cleaning, and special housekeeping assignments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, pantries, and housekeeping storage areas.
• Follow hotel grooming, health and safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times.
• Support sustainability initiatives by using cleaning materials, water, and other resources responsibly.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
