• Adhere to hospital health and safety policies, PPE requirements, and infection-prevention guidelines.
• Prepare rooms after discharge and ready them for new patients.
• Maintain professional conduct around patients, visitors, and staff.
• Complete cleaning schedules and support deep-cleaning activities when needed.

Job Summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our hospital team in Abu Dhabi. The Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, treatment areas, corridors, waiting areas, offices, washrooms, and common areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hospital housekeeping, healthcare cleaning, sanitation, infection prevention, disinfection, waste handling, and environmental hygiene. This position is suitable for candidates with experience as a Hospital Housekeeping Attendant, Healthcare Cleaner, Hospital Cleaner, Room Attendant, Environmental Services Attendant, or Cleaning Attendant.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, hospital wards, treatment rooms, examination areas, corridors, waiting areas, offices, and common areas.
• Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, and housekeeping duties according to hospital standards.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, switches, handrails, furniture, counters, and medical-area surfaces.
• Follow established hospital housekeeping and infection control procedures to minimize the risk of contamination and infection.
• Properly clean patient rooms after discharge and prepare rooms for new patients.
• Maintain a professional and respectful approach when working around patients, visitors, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.
• Follow hospital health and safety policies, infection prevention guidelines, PPE requirements, and housekeeping procedures.
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules and daily housekeeping checklists accurately.
• Support emergency and deep-cleaning activities when required by hospital management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Attendant, Hospital Cleaner, Healthcare Cleaner, Cleaning Attendant, Environmental Services Attendant, Room Attendant, or Hospital Housekeeper is preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, healthcare facility, medical center, hotel, or other institutional environment is an advantage.
• UAE healthcare or hospital housekeeping experience is an advantage.
