Job summary

Accor in the United Arab Emirates (Sharjah) seeks a Security Manager to supervise security officers, enforce policies per Novotel guidelines, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

You will lead training on surveillance, incident reporting, and first aid, oversee patrols, and coordinate with civil defence and police for drills and safety matters. Strong English and hotel security experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Certificates in SIRA - Security Manager License, CPR, First Aid.
• With minimum of 2 years experience preferably with a hotel security.
• A good command of English in both written and spoken.
• Understanding Hotel Operations.
• Customer Focus.
• The ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• To undertake full responsibility of the security officers for supervising and to enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with Novotel guidelines and ensure compliance to all local regulations.
• Train security officers in the operation of surveillance equipment, written reports, record keeping, patrol and first aid procedures.
• Oversee security patrols, identify potential risks and take proactive measures to address safety and security concerns
• To develop and train hotel talents in firefighting, fire evacuation as per local civil defence.
• Maintain communication as needed with the relevant Government entities i.e civil defence, police for scheduling of fire drills or in case of any security related matters.
• Manage on-site emergency responses including fires, medical incidents and safety hazards while coordinating with appropriate teams.
• To investigate, review and follow up of all incidents, loss and accidents reports.
• Ensures for the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.
