Job summary

NOVOTEL in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Security Manager to take full responsibility for security officers, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with local regulations. You will train staff on surveillance, reporting, patrols, and first aid while overseeing patrols and addressing risks.

The role includes coordinating with civil defence and police, managing on-site emergencies, investigating incidents, and safeguarding data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in hotel security.
• Good command of English in written and spoken forms.
• Understanding hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security officers and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Train security officers in surveillance operation, written reports, record keeping, patrols and first aid.
• Oversee security patrols and identify risks to take proactive measures.
• Develop and train hotel staff in firefighting and fire evacuation per local civil defence.
• Coordinate with civil defence, police and other government entities for drills and security matters.
• Manage on-site emergency responses including fires, medical incidents and safety hazards.
• Investigate, review and follow up on incidents, losses and accidents reports.
• Ensure availability, continuity and security of data and information; maintain confidentiality.
