Job summary

Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Income Auditor to review and verify daily financial reports, ensuring proper authorization in line with hotel policies and procedures. The role includes validating night audit logs, daily revenue and F&B reports, and distributing reports after management approval.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in hotel management or accounting, at least one year of hotel experience, strong English communication, and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Degree in hotel management or accounting is required.
• Strong English communication and computer literacy are essential.
• Experience in a hotel environment is preferred but not required for entry-level.
• Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review Night Auditors logbook, daily revenue report and daily F&B report with supporting vouchers and trial balance.
• Distribute daily reports after approval from Director of Finance/Financial Controller.
• Review rate variance to ensure correct rates are applied.
• Review city ledger and credit card transfers and pass to Accounts Receivable.
• Audit daily cash summary and update General Cashier’s report.
• Review cashier overages/shortages and exchange rates as required.
• Conduct weekly float counting of house funds and prepare monthly float count summary.
