Qualifications

• Experience in masonry and civil works around hotel settings
• Ability to read blueprints and plaster ceilings or walls
• Knowledge of mortar mixing, brick/stone laying and tile installation

Responsibilities

• Carry out tiles grouting, blocking and other civil works duties
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for masonry jobs
• Repair and modify buildings, retaining walls and brick/stone structures
• Mix mortar, lay bricks/stones or concrete sidewalks, and build/repair steps
• Patch and replace brick or stone chimneys
• Install and repair tile floors or walls
• Read blueprints and plaster ceilings or walls
• Estimate masonry jobs and carry out carpentry work incidental to masonry work
