Job summary

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is seeking a skilled Mason to join our hotel maintenance team. You will perform brickwork, plastering, tile work, and concrete repairs on a luxury property, ensuring durability and aesthetic quality.

With 2-3 years of relevant experience, you read basic drawings, follow safety standards, and collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks promptly while maintaining a clean, safe work area on site in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Mason (preferably in hotel or commercial buildings).
• Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and concrete repairs.
• Install and repair tiles (floor and wall).
• Perform minor civil works including patching, grouting, and finishing.
• Repair cracks, leaks, and damaged walls or surfaces.
• Ensure proper mixing of cement, mortar, and other materials.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Coordinate with other maintenance team members when required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Inspect building areas to identify repair and maintenance needs.
