Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a General Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and improve civil, structural, and finishing elements of hotel properties.

You will ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and colleagues, and perform preventive maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption. Experience in hotels or large facilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a General Technician, Civil Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
• Hotels, resorts, commercial buildings, hospitals, or large facilities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance programs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Repair damaged walls, ceilings, flooring and architectural finishes.
• Perform plastering, painting, tiling, waterproofing and carpentry repairs.
• Conduct inspections and report structural concerns.
• Respond to emergencies involving water ingress, flooding and building defects.
• Follow all Health, Safety, Fire and Environmental procedures.
• Use PPE correctly and report hazards immediately.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with guests.
• Ensure maintenance works are completed with minimal guest disruption.
• Maintain grooming standards and punctuality.
• Support engineering projects and other assigned duties.
