IHG Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Festival City is seeking a hands-on Carpenter to maintain guest rooms and public areas, ensuring quality finishes and safe, well-kept spaces.

You will perform masonry, carpentry, and general building maintenance, respond to repair requests, and follow safety policies. A trade certificate is encouraged, and 1–3 years of hotel maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a four‑star hotel or similar organization.
• Interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
• Having trade license / HACCP training certificate / or any other technical certificate encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and coordinate with colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance of guestrooms and public areas.
• Carry out masonry, carpentry, finish skills and general building maintenance of doors, floors and walls.
• Identify and report maintenance inventory and activities to supervisors.
• Follow safety and security policies and properly store flammable materials.
• Ensure professional appearance and protect company assets.
• Greet guests and address service needs with courtesy and care.
