Job summary

Rixos Hotels Gulf in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Laundry Team Leader to support daily operations, supervise staff and ensure premium linen quality for guests, maintaining high standards of efficiency, accuracy and hygiene.

You will operate industrial washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers, train attendants, enforce safety and chemical handling guidelines, manage a rotating roster, maintain a clean, safe laundry area and coordinate linen logistics to meet production targets and guest

Qualifications

Experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Washman in hotel laundry.
Hands-on experience operating industrial laundry equipment.
Strong focus on safety, hygiene and quality control.

Responsibilities

Lead daily laundry operations: coordinate workflow, assign tasks and meet production targets.
Operate and oversee washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers.
Train and develop attendants in sorting, fabric care, chemical handling and stain removal.
Perform stain removal and apply chemical treatments.
Inspect finished items to ensure premium cleanliness and presentation.
Manage linen logistics: trolley preparation, distribution and stock control.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised laundry area.
