Job summary

AccorHotel in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Laundry Team Leader to support the Laundry Supervisor in managing daily operations and ensuring high quality, efficient production and safety.

You will lead workflow, supervise equipment like washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers; train attendants in fabric care, stain removal and chemical handling; maintain cleanliness and stock control.

The role is full-time with rotating shifts; prior hotel laundry leadership required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a hotel laundry.
• Hands-on operation of industrial washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers.
• Advanced knowledge of stain identification and chemical stain removal.
• Ability to train, motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong commitment to safety, hygiene and quality control.
• Physically fit for manual tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work a 7-day rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations: coordinate workflow, assign tasks and meet production targets.
• Operate and oversee industrial equipment: washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironers.
• Train and develop attendants in sorting, fabric care, chemical handling and stain removal.
• Perform stain removal and apply chemical treatments.
• Inspect finished items for premium cleanliness and presentation.
• Manage linen logistics: trolley prep, distribution and stock control.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized laundry area.
