Job summary

25hours Hotel One Central in Dubai is seeking an IT leader to drive the hotel IT plan aligned with corporate strategy. You will ensure SLAs, budget adherence, and secure, scalable IT infrastructure across hotel operations and guest services.

You will manage day-to-day IT support, network infrastructure, AV services, and collaboration with internal teams to enable seamless guest experiences and business continuity in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
• Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent professional certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT, preferably within the international hospitality industry or a recognized blue-chip organization.
• Excellent knowledge of key IT processes (applications, databases, IT support etc.)
• Advanced understanding ICT and IT security standards.
• Good budgeting and planning skills.
• Outstanding inter-personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of the Hotel IT plan, in line with the overarching IT strategy, through hotel-specific SLAs and internal quality controls.
• Receive guidelines from the Group IT function and apply them to implement group-wide hotel systems and initiatives.
• Manage regular assessment and update of the Hotel's IT systems to ensure security, scalability and reliability.
• Deliver day-to-day IT support services to colleagues, including network connections, user access control, hardware configuration.
• Respond to ad-hoc IT queries from colleagues and guests and provide timely solutions.
• Investigate end-user problems escalated by IT Support Colleagues and implement fixes.
• Oversee all network infrastructure operations (LAN, WAN and interconnect points).
• Manage and support all AV services within the Hotel, including meeting room setup and event space readiness.
• Coordinate with departments to provide timely AV assistance for VIP guests, conferences and presentations.
• Provide day-to-day IT department guidance and liaise with internal/external parties to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment procedures across IT activities.
• Suggest policy improvements and drive change initiatives to maintain service quality.
• Motivate subordinates and contribute to productivity improvements.
