Job summary

Le Méridien is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to inspect rooms and public areas after cleaning, run room status reports, and coordinate with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry to ensure guest satisfaction. You will assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff while upholding safety and hotel standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus at least one year of related and supervisory experience, and is based at an on-site property in Abu Dhabi under Marriott

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after cleaning by Housekeeping to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, and update status of departing rooms.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry as a liaison.
• Prepare and communicate changes in room assignments; document discrepancies with Front Desk.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and coaching employees.
• Adhere to safety policies; report safety hazards and complete safety trainings.
