Job summary

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to support the Finance Team with accounting records and payroll updates. You will liaise with Paymaster, process attendance sheets, and help maintain orderly financial files.

The ideal candidate has a degree in hotel management or accounting, at least one year in a hotel, strong English, and basic computer literacy; knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN Systems is an asset.

Qualifications

• You should ideally have a degree in hotel management or accounting.
• At least 1 year of experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN Systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Make requisitions for stationery and all office supplies for smooth operations.
• Maintain accounting records and distribute Finance Department mail.
• Ensure attendance sheets are approved before forwarding to Paymaster.
• Assist Paymaster with departmental attendance sheet administration.
• Distribute payslips to Department Heads and obtain signatures.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and record messages accurately.
• Call suppliers to collect pending payments.
• Maintain high level of record confidentiality.
