Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a skilled Electrician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of electrical systems across both hotel properties. The role requires hands-on technical work, attention to safety, and the ability to work across both Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel and NH Collection Dubai The Palm.

You will diagnose faults, replace fixtures, support energy conservation initiatives, maintain records, and assist with emergencies.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of electrician experience in hotels or facilities.
• Knowledge of UAE electrical and health and safety regulations is an advantage.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across both hotel properties.
• Attend to electrical maintenance requests and breakdowns promptly, including guest rooms and public areas.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults involving lighting, outlets, panels, motors, and related equipment.
• Carry out installation and replacement of electrical fixtures, wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, and related components.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance according to the Engineering Department's program.
• Respond to guest room maintenance requests with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with safety standards and local regulations.
• Regularly inspect panels, emergency lighting, and critical equipment.
• Support the Engineering team during emergencies and energy conservation initiatives.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and materials used.
