Job summary

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Ajman invites applications for a CCTV Operator to safeguard guests and premises. You will monitor CCTV, report incidents, coordinate with security teams, and maintain logs while upholding confidentiality and professional service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience with CCTV or security operations, knowledge of access control systems, and good English communication. UAE security awareness is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in CCTV monitoring or security operations in a hotel/hospitality environment preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, video recording equipment and access control.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate security monitoring software.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages an advantage.
• Knowledge of security procedures, incident reporting and emergency response protocols.
• Relevant UAE security training or licensing, where required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the hotel.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, security breaches, and hazards.
• Maintain continuous surveillance to prevent theft and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control systems and report unauthorized entry.
• Respond to security alerts and coordinate with security teams.
• Record and report incidents accurately per security procedures.
• Review and retrieve CCTV footage for investigations with proper authorisation.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of surveillance footage and records.
• Ensure CCTV equipment and related devices are functioning correctly.
• Report faults or system irregularities to the Security Supervisor and tech team.
• Maintain logs of incidents, observations, and shift handovers.
• Assist in investigations involving incidents, loss prevention, and policy violations.
• Support emergency response procedures during alarms or emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and data privacy requirements.
