Job summary

Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is seeking a General Technician to keep facilities running smoothly and support guest experiences daily. You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry tasks, attend to room maintenance requests, and work closely with the engineering team to manage breakdowns and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar technical or maintenance role.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on with good task management and fast-paced environment.
• Technical certification or trade qualification is an advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across hotel facilities.
• Attend to guest room maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Support repairs related to electrical, plumbing, mechanical and basic carpentry works.
• Assist with routine inspections, report faults, and ensure safety standards and hotel procedures are followed.
