Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in Dubai seeks a Finance Supervisor to manage day-to-day financial operations for its hotel portfolio. You will ensure accurate reporting, compliance with standards, and effective handling of financial transactions to optimize performance.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will supervise staff, support budgets and forecasts, and contribute to policy development. A hospitality background, CPA/ACCA is a plus, with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong experience with Opera, SunSystems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise daily accounting functions, including payables/receivables and payroll.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with hotel policies.
• Manage cash flow and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist budgeting, forecasts, and financial analysis for decision-making.
• Support audits with documentation and reconciliations.
• Supervise and train junior finance staff.
