Job summary

The First Group Hospitality in Dubai is seeking a finance professional to join its hospitality-focused finance team. You will handle daily financial transactions, AP/AR, invoicing, and reporting to support hotel operations and profitability.

Ideal candidate has 2–4 years hospitality finance experience, knowledge of VAT and local regulations, proficiency with accounting software and Excel, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years in finance or accounting, hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• VAT knowledge and local financial regulations is an advantage.
• Part-qualified ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in multi-outlet or fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare invoices, payment requests, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and supplier statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and summaries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, banks, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax requirements, and procedures.
• Provide financial support to hospitality operations and expenses.
