Job summary

The First Group Hospitality is seeking a Finance Supervisor to oversee daily accounting and financial reporting for a Dubai hotel operation. You will support the Financial Controller, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with local tax laws and hotel policies.

Ideal candidates hold a Finance/Accounting degree, CPA/ACCA is a plus, and have 3–5 years in hospitality finance with strong Excel and accounting software experience (Opera, SunSystems).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise daily accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with hotel policies and accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L and cash flow reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for decision-making.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and hotel policies.
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
• Supervise and train junior finance staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and best practices.
