Job summary

The First Group Hospitality, a Dubai-headquartered hospitality management company, seeks a skilled Chief Accountant to oversee accounting and finance duties across TB/Balance Sheet/PnL, IFRS adherence, and cashflow management. You will guide monthly closes and collaborate with operations and investors to ensure financial integrity.

Applicants should be Chartered Accountants with 3–5 years in a Chief Accountant role, strong analytical skills, and advanced MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant from a recognised institution.
• USALI knowledge with IFRS understanding.
• 3–5 years' experience in a Chief Accountant role.
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Solid MS Excel skills and familiarity with hotel software SUN/Opera/Micros/FMC.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial close, balance sheet and P&L reviews with TB data.
• Review and approve JV balances, schedules and reconciliations.
• Monitor property level P&L and perform analytical reviews.
• Prepare cash flow statements and explain cash positions monthly.
• Support dues to property owners and resolve financial queries.
• Identify controls weaknesses and drive enhancement initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior executives.
