Job summary

American Hospital Dubai seeks an experienced housekeeping supervisor to lead daily activities across wards, clinics, and public areas. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in a related field, with at least six years in housekeeping and two in supervision.

You will ensure infection control, waste management, and inventory control while coaching staff to uphold the hospital’s high standards and green initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field.
• Minimum six years of progressive housekeeping experience with at least two years in supervision in healthcare or hospitality.
• Knowledge of JCI standards, infection control, waste management, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeepers across assigned areas to meet standards.
• Plan and schedule daily housekeeping activities.
• Assigns and adjusts cleaning areas based on workload.
• Ensure JCIA and infection control codes are followed.
• Develop and implement housekeeping standards and departmental procedures.
• Monitor inventories and place orders to maintain stock.
• Coach and develop staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Promote sustainable housekeeping practices and waste segregation.
