Job summary

Enaya Home Nursing, affiliated with J&F Holdings, seeks a General Practitioner (GP) to provide professional medical care at patients' homes in Dubai. You will supervise nursing and physiotherapy teams, coordinate with treating physicians and hospitals, and ensure comprehensive, up-to-date patient records and care plans.

Responsibilities include reviewing histories, managing treatments, facilitating referrals, and communicating updates to patients and families.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Relevant clinical experience; experience in home healthcare is preferred.
• Good clinical assessment, decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with hospitals, specialists, patients, families, nurses, and physiotherapists.
• Good knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and healthcare regulations.
• Arabic Speaking candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular home visits to assess, monitor, and follow up on patients’ medical conditions.
• Review patients’ medical history, medications, treatment plans, and overall progress.
• Identify changes or deterioration in the patient’s condition and take appropriate medical action or arrange referral when required.
• Coordinate and communicate with the treating physicians, specialists, and hospitals involved in the patient’s care.
• Follow up on hospital visits, admissions, discharges, investigations, treatment recommendations, and medication changes.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to the Nursing Department and monitor the quality of nursing care provided to patients.
• Coordinate with and provide clinical guidance to the Physiotherapy Department regarding patients’ needs and progress.
• Review and update the patient’s care plan and medical recommendations when required.
• Prepare accurate medical reports, home visit reports, progress notes, and other required medical documentation.
• Ensure patient medical records are complete, accurate, and updated.
• Communicate with patients and their families, provide appropriate updates regarding the patient’s condition and progress, and explain medical recommendations clearly.
• Receive, address, and follow up on patient and family complaints or concerns related to medical care and coordinate with management when required.
• Ensure appropriate communication and coordination between doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary care planning when required.
• Ensure appropriate escalation and emergency referral when the patient’s condition requires urgent medical attention.
• Ensure all medical services are provided in accordance with DHA requirements, UAE regulations, professional standards, and Enaya policies and procedures.
• Promote patient safety, quality of care, confidentiality, and professional standards at all times.
• Support clinical training, guidance, and continuous improvement of the healthcare team when required.
