Job summary

Malaak in Dubai is seeking a Homecare General Physician (GP) to deliver safe, patient-centered medical care to patients in their homes across Dubai. You will conduct clinical assessments, diagnose, manage conditions, develop care plans and coordinate with nurses, therapists and specialists to ensure seamless care.

The role requires DHA license, strong English communication, willingness to travel to patient homes, and the ability to work independently in a home setting while maintaining high

Qualifications

• DHA license and good-standing certificate from DHA or relevant authorities.
• Competence in general medicine, chronic disease management, elderly care, and emergency assessment.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes across Dubai.
• UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home visits — Conduct scheduled and urgent home consultations.
• Clinical assessment — Perform examinations, medication reviews and comprehensive evaluations.
• Diagnosis & management — Manage acute and chronic conditions within scope.
• Care planning — Prepare and regularly update individualized care plans.
• Investigations — Request diagnostic tests and review results.
• Emergency identification — Recognize deterioration and arrange referral or hospital transfer.
• Patient-centered care — Deliver compassionate care while maintaining professional standards.
• Multidisciplinary coordination — Collaborate with nurses, therapists, specialists and hospitals.
• Patient & family education — Provide guidance on treatment, medications and preventive care.
• Consent & confidentiality — Obtain informed consent and safeguard patient information.
• Documentation — Maintain complete electronic medical records.
• Compliance — Follow clinical, infection-control and emergency protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• DHA license as a General Practitioner, or valid DHA registration/eligibility.
• Valid medical registration and good‑standing certificate from relevant authorities.
• Competence in general medicine, chronic disease management, elderly care, and emergency assessment.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes across Dubai.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Previous homecare, primary care or community health experience is an advantage.
