Job summary

Medcare Group is seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our Home Care team in Sharjah. The GP will provide comprehensive medical care during home visits, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered service in line with DHA/DOH/MOH regulations.

Requirements include MBBS or equivalent, UAE MOH/DHA/DOH license or eligibility, 2–3 years’ clinical experience, strong communication skills, and English fluency (Arabic is a plus). The role is full-time and on-site with Home Care Services.

Qualifications

• Be/MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Fluent English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to assess, diagnose, and manage patients’ medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with DHA/DOH/MOH regulations.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
• Respond promptly to urgent medical needs and emergencies during visits.
