Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in school-based counseling or student support services.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and educational guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a structured high school counseling programme.
• Provide individual and group counseling covering academic planning and personal development.
• Support student transitions, including progression planning and post-secondary guidance.
• Establish procedures for addressing bullying and behavioral concerns.
• Maintain confidential and accurate student records tracking progress and achievements.
• Coordinate external referrals when additional student support services are required.
• Develop leadership and life-skills initiatives supporting holistic student growth.
• Communicate proactively with parents regarding academic or behavioral concerns.
• Administer and interpret student aptitude and achievement assessments.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and school codes of conduct.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
