Job summary

DSCA Building Contracting in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Civil Draughtsman to join our construction team. You will prepare civil and structural shop drawings for high-rise residential and commercial projects in accordance with approved designs.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Drafting, minimum 3 years in high-rise construction, and strong AutoCAD skills; Revit or BIM experience is a plus. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in high-rise building construction projects; 4+ years preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience with Revit or BIM software is an advantage.
• Excellent understanding of civil and structural drawings, construction details, and building specifications.
• Previous UAE building construction experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
• Important: Experience in high-rise building construction is mandatory. Candidates with experience exclusively in infrastructure projects will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate civil and structural shop drawings in accordance with approved designs and project specifications
• Develop and update detailed construction drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings
• Coordinate with the Technical Manager, site engineers and consultants to resolve drawing discrepancies
• Review architectural and structural drawings to identify potential technical conflicts
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant construction standards and project requirements
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of all technical drawings
• Support the technical department in preparing drawings for consultant and authority approvals
