Job summary

Uasmart in Dubai is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman to contribute to major high-rise building projects. The role focuses on producing detailed drawings, shop drawings and construction documentation, with strong AutoCAD skills and coordination with architects and consultants.

Candidates with UAE/GCC high-rise project exposure and immediate availability will be preferred. The position is on-site in Dubai, offering opportunities for technical growth in a leading construction

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience working on high-rise or large-scale building projects.
• Experience preparing detailed architectural drawings and shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation.
• Good understanding of architectural details and materials.
• Knowledge of construction methods and building processes.
• Experience coordinating with architects, consultants and other disciplines.
• UAE or GCC high-rise project experience is preferred.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
• Must be immediately available to join.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings for high-rise building projects.
• Develop accurate architectural shop drawings.
• Prepare and maintain construction documentation.
• Produce technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret architectural designs and convert them into detailed construction drawings.
• Apply knowledge of architectural details, materials and construction methods.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, consultants and other engineering disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy and consistency.
• Support project teams with technical drafting requirements.
• Update drawings based on project changes and consultant requirements.
