Job summary

AL BADDAD CAPITAL LLC is seeking a qualified Heavy Truck Driver to safely operate trucks for transporting materials, equipment and goods between company facilities and project sites in Dubai. You will ensure timely deliveries, perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation.

Applicants should hold a valid UAE heavy vehicle licence, have 2–5 years of driving experience, and demonstrate knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
• 2–5 years of experience driving heavy trucks.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to operate different types of heavy trucks.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand delivery notes and transportation documents.
• Physically fit and capable of handling job-related requirements.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials, equipment, and goods as assigned.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of materials to designated locations and project sites.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections including checking brakes, tires, lights, oil, water and other essential components.
• Ensure that all transported materials and loads are properly secured and comply with weight and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, delivery notes, vehicle mileage and other required documents.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and instructions from the Transport Supervisor.
• Immediately report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, damages, traffic violations or mechanical issues.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Ensure all vehicle documents, registration, insurance and driving licenses are valid and available.
• Comply with UAE traffic regulations, road safety requirements and company HSSE policies.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics and project teams regarding loading and unloading activities.
• Assist in loading and unloading activities when required ensuring proper safety precautions.
• Avoid unauthorized vehicle usage and strictly follow company transportation procedures.
• Perform other transportation-related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
