Job summary

GMG is seeking a Driver – Heavy Vehicle in Dubai to safely operate trucks and trailers across company facilities and client sites. You will ensure timely deliveries, inspect equipment, secure cargo, and maintain logs, following traffic laws and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles in the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving license for heavy vehicles required.
• Ability to follow delivery schedules and route plans.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles (trucks, trailers, etc.) for assigned delivery routes.
• Ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods, following established schedules.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips; report maintenance or mechanical issues.
• Secure cargo appropriately to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Adhere to all road and traffic safety regulations.
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Comply with company procedures for loading, routing, and reporting.
• Assist loading/unloading activities if required.
• Respond calmly and appropriately to unexpected road situations or delays.
