Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a Heavy Truck Driver with UAE License No. 4 to join our logistics team. You will operate heavy trucks across UAE routes, ensuring safe handling and timely deliveries.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, knowledge of UAE road regulations, ability to work long hours and weekends, and basic English communication. Accommodation, transport, overtime, and trip allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (License No. 4) is required.
• 2–5 years of experience driving heavy trucks/trailers.
• Knowledge of UAE roads, traffic regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to drive long distances and work flexible schedules.
• Physically fit and able to perform driving duties.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy trucks/trailers for transportation of goods across assigned routes in the UAE.
• Ensure timely delivery of cargo while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery documentation, and fuel logs.
• Follow company policies regarding vehicle operation, cargo handling, and road safety.
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for delivery schedules and route planning.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported without damage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely delivery of cargo while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.

• Physically fit and capable of handling job-related responsibilities.

• Basic communication skills in English.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Heavy Truck Driver, Trailer Driver, or Long-Haul Driver.

1. Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (UAE license preferred)

2. Experience operating tractor-trailers, articulated trucks, tankers, flatbed trailers, or heavy commercial vehicles.

3. Good understanding of road safety regulations, vehicle maintenance checks, and defensive driving practices.

4. Ability to undertake long-distance trips and work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime when required.

5. Experience in transporting goods safely while maintaining delivery timelines.

6. Basic communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge will be an added advantage.

7. Physically fit and medically fit to perform driving duties.
