Job summary

Al Sahraa Recruitment Services is seeking a reliable Heavy Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate holds a UAE heavy vehicle driving license and has at least 5 years of experience driving heavy vehicles.

Responsibilities include transporting goods, performing pre-trip inspections, and maintaining delivery records while complying with safety and traffic regulations. Offshore experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license.
• Secondary school certificate with fair knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Able to drive 40' trailer in congested areas.
• Offshore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow traffic laws and company regulations while on the road.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or defects to the supervisor.
• Load and unload goods and materials as required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate with logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while operating the vehicle.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Follow all traffic laws and company regulations while on the road
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or defects to the supervisor immediately
• Load and unload goods and materials from the vehicle as required
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Communicate effectively with the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating the vehicle
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license
• Must have valid UAE driving license (Category 5/7) for driving heavy vehicles.
• Have secondary school certificate with Fair knowledge of written and spoken English

• OFFSHORE EXPERINCE IS PREFFERD
